My name is Richard Coathup. I have been a Microsoft Developer for 10 years. I have work with such technologies as Visual Basic, ASP, VB.NET, ASP.net, SQL Server database, XML, and Oracle Database. I am very much a team player, so we can work to accomplish to complete task in a timely manner. I am also a person who will pay close attention to detail when given specs to code for. If a spec is not given to me, then I would write up some documentaion on the project. This will help me in my coding to ensure the project goes smoothly. The reason is that I understand that certain projects have sensitive information that needs to be completed correctly due to federal guidelines. I understand how coding the application needs to be correct due the sensitive information and federal guidelines must be followed. I would also help my fellow co-workers in any question they might have or in anything they might need. I bring to the table ten years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies. I have experience working on in house developed application as well as software products for external clients. I have been involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle including requirement gathering, client liaison and writing up functional and technical specification. I am a team oriented person with an excellent work ethic. I am also considering a career change to becoming a Business or Technical Analyst instead of a developer. I would appreciate some advice and leads on position in those fields.
