A results-focused professional with experience in a diverse array of industries, Mr. Jesse Masek has held a number of managerial positions over the course of his career. Showing skill in office management, hotel management, and tourism management, Jesse Masek is currently preparing for a career in accounting and is studying for the Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant exam. In anticipation of his new career, Jesse Masek recently completed a Graduate Certification Program in Accounting at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. While he is working toward his certification as a licensed public accountant, Mr. Jesse Masek serves as the office manager for Martha's Vineyard Hardwood Floors, Inc. in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. In this capacity, Jesse Masek handles all of the companyâ??s logistical operations, insuring the timely completion of flooring projects. Jesse Masek additionally serves Martha's Vineyard Hardwood Floors as a sales representative and has helped grow the companyâ??s business substantially through his friendly and helpful demeanor. In addition to his current work with Martha's Vineyard Hardwood Floors, Jesse Masek manages Martha's Vineyard Ocean Sports, also located in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. The company, which only operates during the summer season, is a popular venue for water sports, parasailing, and boat rentals. As the manager, Jesse Masek handles all of the companyâ??s financial reporting, including pricing, booking, billing, and daily and weekly cash flows. Outside of his financial management of the company, Jesse Masek also serves as a U.S. Coast Guard-certified boat captain and personally leads individual and group charter expeditions. Jesse Masek began his career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Flight Line Crew Chief. After five years in the Marine Corps, Jesse Masek pursued a number of different positions in the leisure and hospitality industry, working as both a crewmember and captain of several boats in Maui, Hawaii. In addition to his recent graduate certificate in accounting, Jesse Masek holds an Associate degree from Cape Fear Community College and a Bachelorâ??s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
